    Ingredient notes

    • Unsweetened plant milk: any type of unsweetened dairy-free milk will work, such as almond milk or oat milk, but soy milk is my favorite one for this recipe.
    • Apple cider vinegar: you could also use white vinegar or lemon juice instead.
    • Vegan mayo: I do recommend you make your own mayo following our recipe (it’s so easy to make!), but you can also use it store-bought.

    Dietary variations

    • Make soy-free: use soy-free plant milk and vegan mayo.
    • Make it oil-free: use oil-free vegan mayo.
    • Make it nut-free: use nut-free plant milk.
Step-by-step photos of how to make this recipe

    How to make vegan ranch

    • Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix until well combined.
    • Then refrigerate your vegan ranch for at least 30 minutes and serve immediately.

    How to store

    • Fridge: keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

    Is ranch vegan?

Traditional ranch dressing is not vegan, as it is made with buttermilk, mayonnaise, and/or sour cream.

    Serving suggestions

Feel free to serve your dairy-free ranch dressing with potato chips, Buffalo cauliflower wings, or crudités such as celery sticks, carrots, or any other veggies you like.

You can also experiment with flavors by adding your favorite spices and fresh herbs to taste!
