This super creamy mango smoothie is made with just 3 healthy ingredients, ready in less than 5 minutes, and the most delicious breakfast smoothie.
Smoothies are one of the best ways to enjoy fruit on a daily basis. They're creamy, delicious, so convenient, easy to make and everybody loves them, even the kids!
They helped me a lot in my transition when I went vegan as I wasn't used to the taste and texture of fresh fruit. Besides, they don't require special equipment or advanced cooking skills, just a regular blender.
Smoothies are great for breakfast or even as a snack to enjoy on the go. I also have a large smoothie for lunch or dinner once in a while, especially if I've had a heavy meal the day before.
I love this mango smoothie because I can make it any time I want as I always have milk, bananas, and frozen mango chunks on hand. I also add a handful of spinach (fresh or frozen) to make it even more nutritious.
Fresh mango is also a good choice, but I find frozen mango chunks extremely convenient as you don't have to peel and chop the mango and they last forever in the freezer.
Besides, if you use frozen mango and a frozen banana, your smoothie will be SO creamy. You can enjoy it in a bowl with a spoon or drink it as a regular smoothie.
I have smoothies all year long because I love them so much and I feel amazing after having one, but if it's cold outside and you still want a smoothie, it might be a good idea to use fresh fruit instead of frozen and just add less milk if needed.

How to make mango smoothie - Step by step
- Add the frozen mango chunks to a powerful blender (photo 1).
- Add the chopped frozen or regular banana to the blender (photo 2).
- Add milk of your choice (photo 3). I used unsweetened oat milk, but any kind will do.
- Blend until smooth (photo 4) and enjoy!
Pro tips
- If you use frozen mango chunks and a frozen banana your smoothie will be so creamy, but you can also use fresh mango and a regular banana.
- I prefer to use unsweetened milk because is healthier, but it's up to you. If your smoothie is not sweet, maybe the fruit was not ripe enough. Try to add 1 or 2 Medjool dates and blend again until smooth.
- If you're using fresh fruit, but you want your smoothie to be cold, use cold milk or add some ice cubes before blending.
- Add more or less milk, depending on how thick you want your smoothie.
- Use a powerful blender if possible. If you don't have one, maybe it might be a good idea to add the fruit fresh instead of frozen. You can also add more milk if needed.
How long does mango smoothie keep in the fridge?
This smoothie is best when it's freshly made, but you can keep it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Can you freeze mango smoothie?
If you want to make big batches for the week, just keep them in several airtight containers in the freezer and just transfer one to the fridge the night before you're going to have your smoothie.
