Cashew butter, a very satisfying creamy nut butter. It's so easy to make, it requires only 3 ingredients and it's ready in 20 minutes.
Cashew butter is as delicious as peanut butter or any other nut butter. It's creamy and nutritious and it tastes SO good! It has the perfect texture and it's so soft you'll want to have it everyday.
Buying nut butters at the grocery store can cost a lot of money. Besides, the store-bought ones are usually packed with additives and preservatives, so they're not really healthy. This homemade cashew butter is made with natural and easy-to-find ingredients and it's actually quite inexpensive.
Eat this butter with toasts, oatmeal or use it to make nut butter and jelly sandwich, as it's tasty, healthy and amazingly good. I used roasted cashews, but you could also use them raw or even use other nuts to make a different kind of recipe.
Cashew butter is rich, smooth, prepared with only 3 ingredients and ready in just 20 minutes. To make it you need a blender and an oven to roast the cashews yourself, but you can also buy them already roasted. Enjoy!

- You can even omit the oil if you have a good food processor.
- Salt is optional but the butter will taste better if you use it.
Does cashew butter go bad?
Keep it in a sealed container in a dark, cool place. It will last for months and will keep all its properties. As long as it looks good, smells good and tastes good, you can eat it.
How to use cashew butter
Get creative and eat your cashew butter with everything! Use it in your smoothie bowl for a creamier texture, spread it onto your toasts or use it to make your nut butter and jelly sandwich or even add it to your overnight oats. You can actually eat it with anything that calls for nut butter.
Can I use raw cashews to make cashew butter?
Yes, you can. With raw cashews you'll probably need a more powerful blender and will need to add some more oil so the butter gets a smooth texture.
I used roasted cashews because they're easier to blend and it takes less time to make the butter. Also, roasted cashews give the butter a very good taste.
