Watermelon smoothie, so refreshing and delicious. Perfect for the hot summer days, it only requires 3 ingredients and it's ready in just 5 minutes!

Watermelon smoothie is a great way of eating fruit in the summertime. This drink is so tasty and good you'll want to have it on a daily basis, and it's perfectly refreshing after a long hot summer day. I really love it!

Although I've tried so many smoothie recipes over the years, I especially like this one, as watermelon is so hydrating, as well as high in vitamin C and nutrients. Of course, this smoothie is completely vegan and doesn't contain cholesterol at all.

I'd recommend you to keep the watermelon in the fridge, although it's also okay to add some ice cubes when you blend it up. I prefer not to because I like it better without them, but if you're in a hurry it would work as well! Just remember to always serve it cold.

As this smoothie is made with fresh ingredients, it's best to serve it immediately or refrigerate for a couple of hours before drinking it. However, if you have lots of leftovers, you can keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 72 hours.

This watermelon smoothie is very versatile and you can have it at any time. Feel free to drink it for breakfast, as a dessert or even as a snack, or to customize it with your favorite ingredients.

It would go well with berries, chia seeds, or basil. However, if you'd like a creamier texture, you could add some banana, cashew milk, soy milk, or even coconut milk to it.

Can I make watermelon smoothie with frozen watermelon?

Of course! It's very important to serve your drink cold, so you could either keep your watermelon in the fridge, add some ice into it or even cut the watermelon in cubes and freeze it before you prepare your smoothie. In that case, it might have a thicker texture, but it'll be equally delicious!

Watermelon Smoothie

Ingredients 
 

  • 4 cups watermelon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 8 mint leaves

  • Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined.
  • Serve immediately very cold and eat it for breakfast, dessert, or even as a snack. Customize it with your favorite ingredients, such as berries, chia seeds, or some banana. Add cashew milk, soy milk, or coconut milk for a creamier texture.
  • Keep the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 72 hours.
