Vegan pizza ingredients and tips
Pizza dough: homemade pizza dough is amazing and usually healthier, but the store-bought one is also great.
Pizza sauce: I like to make my own pizza sauce because it’s healthier, more affordable, and ready in just 5 minutes, but store-bought pizza sauce is also okay.
It's also delicious with store-bought or Homemade Marinara Sauce!
Vegan mozzarella: feel free to use homemade or store-bought mozzarella. Pretty much any vegan cheese will do, though. You could also add just some nutritional yeast on top just before serving if you’re in a hurry.
You could also try to use my Vegan Parmesan Cheese or even my Vegan Cheese Recipe.
Onion and mushrooms: add any veggies you like or have on hand.
Black olives: any type of olives will do. You can also omit this ingredient or add other toppings instead.
Dried oregano: any dried or fresh herbs will do. Basil is also a good choice.
Feel free to customize your vegan pizza with your favorite ingredients. I sometimes add some poultry seasoning, Italian seasoning, chicken seasoning, or any other kind of herbs.
