Lemon ginger tea, a super comforting drink. It's easy to make, as it requires 4 ingredients and 10 minutes. It'll boost your immune system!

Did you know that lemon ginger tea is one of the healthiest and most beneficial drinks you can have? It is actually super tasty and extremely easy to prepare because it only requires 4 simple ingredients and it's ready in just 10 minutes.

Besides, this lemon and ginger tea is super comforting and you can have it warm or cold (I love to have it warm!). I always try to make it at least once a week so I can benefit from all its properties.

    Ingredients and tips

    • Water.
    • Lemon.
    • Ginger: to make lemon ginger tea I used fresh ginger and didn't peel it. However, feel free to peel it if you want to, or even use some ground ginger instead.
    • Maple syrup: you don't have to add it to your lemon and ginger tea if you don't want to; you can also use a different kind of sweetener.
    • You can have your tea by itself or serve it with your favorite snacks. I usually have it with vegan donuts, vegan vanilla cupcakes, vegan blueberry muffins, vegan crepes, or with a slice of vegan bread and some blueberry compote, coconut butter, cashew cheese, or vegan ricotta spread on top.

What are the lemon ginger tea benefits?

These are some lemon ginger tea benefits: it's a relaxing drink, perfect for bedtime, and it's high in vitamin C and antioxidants, so it'll boost your immune system and help you fight a cold. This lemon and ginger tea can also help improve your digestion!

This is a very tasty tea recipe, so I definitely started drinking this when I saw recipe I switch at bedtime between this and chamomile ever other night. I am a healthy tea fanatic and I always every morning have 1 cup of tea in the mornings and evenings. But every single morning I try to drink my special tea I make it is the prolly the only healthy thing I really drink lol and I definately am not a health food person. This is said to keep your cells healthy so it keeps cancer away and it keeps you healthy and true story since I've been drinking it about a week or so after drinking it everyday I haven't had any allergies and sinus issues and my nose used to run like everyday and I would sneeze and cough my sinuses had lots of pressure my face and head would hurt all the time I would get stuffy at night and have trouble breathing through my nose and it would constantly wake me up I felt like I was being suffocated and I would get dry scratchy throat and feel lumps in my throat I couldn't swallow or spit out it was awful and yes I smoke but now the doctor said my lungs are pretty healthy and I still smoke but I don't even get smokers cough anymore I'm 43 been smoking since I was 12 I have been drinking what I'm about to share for about a year or so I started last fall/winter when I got deathly sick with my sinuses and allergies they thought had covid and got pit off work for a week but found out it wasn't which I knew that because twice a year at least I would always get the following: Sinus Infection, Sinusitis, Upper Respiratory Infection, Bronchitis, Bronchial Pneumonia and nose bleeds, sometimes hospital trip bad....and I had allergy induced Asthma, I haven't touched a inhaler since a week after starting this tea and no nose bleeds or any other above thing I mentioned it feels so nice after have them problems since I was old enough to start having a memory. .. so my Drink is a (Green Tea Mixture)... Feel free to add my recipe to all your other recipes as if I can help anyone else out there it's worth it trust me and it's said to keep cancer away and reduce and climate cancer if you already have it! Recipe:. A big mug with lid is what I use so I can take it to work... Bring your mug water to a boil I just throw it in the microwave for a few minutes.. then I put 2 green tea bags to steep for 10 minutes. At least 2 table spoons of real honey I buy mine from a local bee farmer.. don't get store bought honey unless you have no choice it doesn't have all the health benefits just some.. 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder 1 table spoon of clover powder or you can get fresh cinnamon sticks and clovers if want it's faster and easier since I leave work early in the morning to use the powder.. and of not sweet enough you can add more honey or some sugar sometimes I add the extra honey or sugar to help with my severe hypoglyciemic Disorder... The green tea is healthy way of fixing your sinus and allergy problems the cinnamon helps your body heal faster and these both have antibiotic properties.. clover keeps colds and flu at bay but I've never had the flu that I can remember even as a kid I faked that I had flu to stay home when I was a kid when my sister or parents had it but don't remember ever having it lol. I had weird things like scarlet fever and chicken pox over and over because I can't get immune to it . Then ofcourse the honey it has the best antibiotics and antioxidants it overall is what the drink is made for because that is what keeps you and your cells healthy and keeps cancer from growing .. you feel better too in general and more energetic... Let me know what you think of my recipe thankyou and feel free to add it like I mentioned above 😉

Hi, you did not mention squeezing the lemon slices. So you just leave it to soak while in the cup with its juices intact?

Hi! We don't squeeze the lemon! We use it in step 2, and then we strain it in step 3.

It tastes better if the lemon is not squeezed, i used to squeeze it and it has a bitter taste. Thanks a lot for clarifying, appreciate it.

A good immune booster drink but why are calling it tea and there's no tea leaves added to qualify it it to be tea.

I've made it but grated the ginger into a coffee filter I used as a tea bag (tied with a twist tie), and used raw honey instead of maple syrup. It's an awesome drink especially for a sore throat.
