Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a pot, except the nutritional yeast and the lemon juice.

Well, I’ve made this soup twice a month for the past six months that we’ve been Vegan. It is incredible! After the first batch my husband said it was the best soup I’ve ever made and I’ve been making soup for many years, so that’s quite a compliment.

Hi! Feel free to omit nutritional yeast 🙂
Amalija says
I made this using frozen spinach and broccoli and it turned out delicious. Also used frozen ginger and garlic lol. Measured everything out in one container using a electronic scale the night before, poured everything in a pot the next day.. so easy! Thank you. 🙂

I tried the immune boosting green soup. Yummy! It was so good I intended to pour it over pasta but upon tasting it I ate the whole bowl and never made the pasta. It was good enough to eat to eat buy itself.

Creamy and delicious! I doubled it but forgot to double the coconut milk but found it plenty creamy. Will definitely add this to the repertoire. Thank you!

Subbed water for coconut and loved it. Creamy enough for me without the coconut.

Hi Iosune! Thanks for this recipe. I really love it! I've been doing it for several years now. Just one little comment from me I keep wanting to share with you 🙂 You should use the stalks of the broccoli! They are as nutritious and tasty as the florets and it a great way to not waste a bit 🙂 In fact we eat them in slices as well when we steam broccoli but I'd understand you don't like the roughness of it. On this note, I'm about to serve it for dinner. Thanks again for sharing this treasure.

Hi Stella, thanks for your recommendation 🙂

So delicious and easy. I used green onion instead of leeks and canned peas since frozen were sold out. I would make this again and again. Thank you.

Sooooooo good! 5 vegans in our family including a 7-year-old, 4-year-old, and 8-month-old and all of us were licking our bowls clean. We omitted the cayenne pepper but put a little more ginger in. We dropped off our extras to a friend who is currently recovering from the flu. This will be a regular recipe! Thank you!
Iosune says
Hi Briona! I'm so happy to read that 🙂 Thank YOU for your comment!

So simple to make and I was blown away by how tasty it is! My immune system is very low just now and I made lots to have each day and enough to freeze too. Delicious and packed so full of goodness. Thank you for the recipe.

The recipe seemed too simple and I was doubtful whether it would really be tasty. But as soon as I tasted, I wanted to write "Excellent" on the printed recipe and make it a regular in my diet. It's fantastic! Thank you!

I had a tickle in my throat and stuffy nose a couple of days ago and was worried I might be getting sick. I started looking up green soup recipes when I got home from work and decided to make this one. I had everything on hand except the leek, so I just omitted that. I used three or four huge handfuls of spinach/kale mixture because I wanted to up the greens. I added an extra cup of veggie broth since I added so many greens. It was super easy and fast to make! It was also really delicious and made a ton! I’ve been eating it for lunch the last two days, too. I’m not sure if the soup was part of the reason, but I did not get sick after all. I’ll save this recipe and use it a lot in the future. Thanks!

Hi Susie! I'm so happy to hear that 🙂 So glad you liked it!

I stumbled on your beautiful recipe for boasting immune system. I like it and it makes sense but I would like to know the substitute for coconut milk as I am allergic to coconut and almond milk. Could I use rice milk instead. Or just water.
Iosune says
Hi Ifeoma! Any plant milk will do 🙂
Kseniya Sanders says
Wow! Immune boosting green soup is a great idea when it is cold outside. Know from my own experience that the immune system is weakened in winter. Eating this soup you won't catch a cold. At the same time, it is good for vegetarians, like me. Planning to cook this soup as soon as possible. Question: is it helpful for losing weight?
Iosune says
Hi Kseniya! It could be, as long as you're following a healthy diet 🙂
Paul Tee says
Made this soup for especially for my wife, she loved it and so did I, Fantastic flavour. The second time I made it I added some celery that needed using up, this didn't alter the flavour just added a little more texture. I found the nutritional yeast in Holland & Barrets only £2-99. I think this really helped the flavour
Iosune says
Hi Paul! So glad your wife and you enjoyed it 🙂
