Natural juices are full of nutrients and they're great to cleanse and detoxify your body. I only made juice with citrus fruits until I bought a cheap juicer about two years ago. It was really small and handy, but it didn't work very well, I only could use fruits with a high water content and it was impossible to make green juices.
If you don't want to invest in a good juicer, you can make juice with a blender, it's really easy and you only need a blender (I use my Vitamix blender, I love it!!!), a nut milk bag (you can also use a cheesecloth or a napkin) and a bowl.
To make the juice you just need to blend your fruits and veggies in the blender with some water, place the nut milk bag on the top of a bowl and pour the juice through it. Squeeze with your hands until all the juice is in the bowl.
Although is really easy to make juice with a blender, I recommend you to buy a good juicer if you're going to make juices very often and you can afford it.
Store-bought juices are full of sugar, additives and preservatives and they're not healthy at all, even if they're made with fruit they're pasteurized, so almost all of their nutrients are gone. Make natural juices at home, there are thousands of recipes you can try! Don't forget to leave a comment or tag a picture #simpleveganblog on Instagram (or other social network) if you make this juice, it's really delicious!
How to Make Juice with a Blender
Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cups water
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 mango
- 1 orange
- 2 tangerines
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
- Place a nut milk bag (you can also use a cheesecloth or a napkin) on the top of a bowl and pour the juice through it. Squeeze with your hands until all the juice is in the bowl.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- The nutritional info is not accurate as it's calculated as this was a smoothie (it includes the pulp you discard to make the juice).

If I need a cup of ginger juice and don’t want to dilute it with water and recipe also requires a cup of lemon juice .... can I use a ninja blender .... peel the ginger and add the already squeezed lemon juice, instead of water, to juice the ginger. Then perhaps squeeze through cheesecloth in order not to dilute the ginger? Wanting the ginger juice without having to buy expensive juicer.

I was wanting to see about canning this recipe?? Ever tired it??
Iosune Robles says
Hi Kellie! I haven't tried it myself, sorry. But, I think the juice lasts for up to 2-3 days 🙂
Hope I have helped you! Have a nice day!

Hi Kellie. Keep in mind that "canning" requires heating to very high temperatures, which is a pasteurization process, and as Iosune reminds us, pasteurization causes fruits and veggies to lose much of their nutrient value and flavor. Remember, when fresh fruits and veggies are hard to find locally during certain Seasons, frozen whole foods are the next best thing! (You can find good quality frozen veg and fruits in many different stores, including Asian and Hispanic markets, and "discount" groceries, so shop around for pricing). Better to make your juices off-season from frozen than to make in advance for long-term storage by heated "canning" method.

Thanks for your help 🙂 Have a nice day!

I don't see why the juice can't be frozen, for longer storage, unless you don't have a freezer.

Without the best blender people could not make good juice. Firstly people need a best blender. I think your site is best for blender info. I got a lot of info from here. Thanks for sharing your idea.
