Homemade healthy barbecue sauce, made with just 10 ingredients in 20 minutes! Perfect for fries, burgers, marinades, dipping, grilling, and just about everything else.
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and stir until well combined.
Bring it to a boil and then simmer at low temperature for 15 minutes, partially covered.
Remove from heat and let it cool down at room temperature.
Keep it in the fridge in a sealed container for at least 1 or 2 weeks.
Notes
Add more or less water, depending on how thick you want your barbecue sauce. We added ½ cup (125 ml).
We added 3 tablespoon of paprika, but it has less flavor than the paprika we used in Spain, so I recommend you to add it gently until it tastes okay for you.
Feel free to add other sweeteners, vinegars or spices you have on hand.
