Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard optional
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a small bowl or a jar and stir until well combined. 
  • Use your chicken seasoning to make all kinds of vegan recipes, such as vegan chicken, vegan turkey, or vegan chicken noodle soup.
  • Keep it in an airtight container in a dark, cool place for 6 months or longer.

Notes

  • Feel free to use what you have on hand. If you don’t have or like any ingredient, just omit it or use something similar.
  • I used dried herbs because I find them more convenient and they last longer, but feel free to use fresh herbs if you want.
  • I prefer to mix the different ingredients in a bowl because it’s faster and cleaner. However, you could also blend them if you'd rather your chicken seasoning have a thinner texture.
  • Feel free to make a big batch of homemade chicken seasoning, as it will keep for a really long time.
