Keep the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Keep in mind that this vegan sweetened condensed milk will thicken as it cools, so add more water and blend again if needed.
Notes
I’ve only tried making this recipe with soy milk powder, but I think any other plant milk powder will do.
Feel free to use any type of sugar or salt you have on hand. Make sure the sugar you’re using is vegan. I've never tried making this recipe with liquid sweeteners like agave or maple syrup, but if you do and succeed, please leave a comment and let me know!
You could also use a different type of oil, but make sure it has a neutral flavor. Don’t use extra virgin olive oil for this recipe.
