Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar of choice I used brown sugar
  • ¼ cup oil of choice I used extra virgin coconut oil

Instructions

  • Add the sugar to a container, then add the oil, and finally stir until well combined.
  • You’re looking for a sandy consistency, otherwise, if the scrub is too soupy, the sugar will dissolve in 1-2 days.
  • This homemade sugar scrub is very easy to store. As it'll probably be a part of your beauty routine, I suggest you keep it in an airtight small mason jar or just a regular jar (as long as it's sealed) in a cabinet in your bathroom. It'll last for up to 1 month.

Notes

  • Whether you incorporate essential oils or not, don't eat your DIY sugar scrub. Research which oils or essential oils you can use if you're pregnant.
  • Do not use it every day but up to 3 times a week at most.
  • Feel free to use any type of sugar.
