Italian Seasoning

Italian seasoning is a blend of dried herbs used in plenty of Italian recipes. It's ready in less than 2 minutes and tastes so good!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoon dried sage
  • 2 tablespoon dried marjoram

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and mix until well combined. You could also place them in a jar and shake until well mixed or add them to a food processor or blender and blend until you get the desired consistency.
  • Keep it in an airtight container at room temperature for months and use in cabbage soup, vegetable soup, vinaigrette, roasted beets, or even in your breakfast potatoes. Add it to all your favorite recipes!

Notes

  • If you can't find some of the herbs, feel free to omit or replace them, but it would be best to make this exact recipe.
  • Dried herbs work better than fresh herbs and they will make your seasoning last longer, but you could also use fresh ones.
  • I'd rather mix the ingredients in a bowl because it's fast and clean. However, if you are looking for a lighter texture or your herbs don't have a similar size, you can use a blender or a grinder.
