4-Ingredient vegan mango lassi, a plant-based alternative to this popular yogurt-based drink from the Indian Subcontinent. It’s so creamy and refreshing!
Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened plant based yogurt (250 g), we used soy yogurt
2 Medjool or 4 Deglet Nour dates, pitted (optional)
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve immediately and top with your favorite ingredients (we added some sliced almonds and chopped pistachios). Best when fresh, you can keep the vegan mango lassi in a sealed container in the fridge for 1 or 2 days.
Notes
Feel free to add some ice cubes if you want your lassi to be even more refreshing.
Use any fruit (fresh or frozen) or any natural sweetener you have on hand.
We prefer to use unsweetened yogurt and milk, but if you use them sweetened, omit the dates.
Traditional lassi is made with spices like ground cardamom. We prefer our lassi this way, but it’s up to you.
