Spicy Roasted Chickpeas. This recipe is light, incredibly easy to prepare and you can use your favorite spices. It’s also vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry chickpeas (200 grams)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon curry

Instructions

  1. Soak the dry chickpeas overnight.
  2. Next day preheat the oven to 390 degrees F.
  3. Dry the chickpeas, put them in a bowl and add lemon juice, spices and mix using your hands.
  4. Place the spicy chickpeas in an oven sheet with baking paper and put it in the middle rack of the oven.
  5. Let the chickpeas roast from 40 to 45 minutes.
