There’s a lot to see and do in Seville (or Sevilla) and if you’re vegan or just love health food, you need to visit Red Verde, a wonderful vegan store in the center of the city.
It’s an amazing place to go, you can find organic fruits and veggies, flours, legumes and a lot of delicious vegan food. I really love Red Verde because here in Spain is difficult to find vegan substitutes you can buy there like cheese, chorizo, sausages or meat.
Conchi and Estefanía (the owners) are very nice and the store is a cuteness. If you want to know more about them, visit their blog (although it’s in Spanish).
We only could buy a few things because we live in Málaga and had to travel by train. I would buy the whole store! The fruits and veggies looked great, but we prefered to buy things we can’t find in our city.
You can buy almost everything in the store, but every time I go I buy cheese and chorizo. I don’t eat this kind of food very often, but I do occasionally and I also use them to make some Simple Vegan Blog recipes, like this vegan chorizo queso dip.
They also sell superfoods and some raw foods, like these delicious bars, there are different flavors and they taste soooo good.
You can see what we bought in the pictures below: cheese, chorizo, chocolate bars, chicken (vegan of course) and some raw bars. We also bought gluten to make vegan chorizo (I promise I’ll share the recipe) and two delicious homemade vegan empanadas.
The store is always full of people (at least the time we’ve been there) because the food and the owners are great. Besides, Conchi and Estefanía are animal rights activists and I admire them so much.
Don’t forget to visit Red Verde if you go to Seville!
