Big news! We're moving to Germany in less than two months! ? We want to travel more and this is our time and we're going to live in another country for the first time, we're soooo excited. We will live in Cologne and it's quite difficult to find a cheap small apartment just for the two us, if somebody can give us an advice, suggestion or idea, we'll be so thankful. Germany is a beautiful country with beautiful people, I spent a week in Berlin some years ago with my family and I really love it. Alberto visited the Black Forest also many years ago and I'm dying to be there, I love nature! Don't worry, we'll be posting recipes as usual, the blog is our job and we love it, we're so lucky!

There is another vegan yogurt sauce recipe on the blog, but this one is oil-free, yay! Just in case you don't know, I follow a high carb low fat vegan diet and I feel AMAZING! I try to avoid oil as much as I can and tahini is my favorite fat at this moment, how could I live without out it so many years? I prefer raw tahini because is more nutritious and I love its taste, but regular tahini is usually easier to find and it's also super healthy.

I prerfer to use garlic powder than raw garlic to make my sauces because is easier to digest, but feel free to use it if you want. Fresh mint is better, but as I have dried mint on hand, I used it.

I make this oil-free vegan yogurt sauce a lot! When I make my baked falafel and it's also delicious as a salad dressing or a dip. Love it!

Delicious! Eating it now with your lentil felafel. I think it would work great as a daily salad dressing too. Thank you!

Not sure about no oil recipe? Tahani is basically sesame seed oil with 16 grams of fat for 2 TBSP. Can you explain why this fits into a low fat vegan diet and no oil recipe? Thank you

Hi Chip! Oil is just liquid fat, tahini has also more nutrients and we eat it occasionally. Here's the info about the diet we follow 🙂 https://www.drmcdougall.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/Dr-McDougalls-Color-Picture-Book1.pdf Have a nice day!

I also follow the McDougall diet, and he explicitly states that we should consume no added oil of any kind, so I'm curious why most of your recipes include oil? The food looks great but I'm always looking for oil-free recipes. Thanks

Hi Calgal! I followed the MCDougall diet just for a short period of time, that's why many of my recipes are made with oil, but you can omit it if you want 🙂
