Do you like mojito? I do! I rarely drink alcohol, but I can still enjoy my favorite alcoholic drinks, how? Making my own non-alcoholic version, it's healthier and it tastes quite similar. These non-alcoholic vegan mojito balls taste like real mojito, that's because of the mint, the lime and the brown sugar.

I love this kind of desserts, especially in summer. You can prepare these balls in 10 minutes and you don't need to cook, you only need to blend all the ingredients in a blender or a food processor and make the balls. In addition, this dessert is healthier and lighter than others because is made with natural ingredients and there are no additives or preservatives added.

You only need 6 ingredients to make this recipe and they are really easy to get. If you can't get agave syrup or you don't like it, you can use another sort of syrup or molasses, or even you can use sugar, but you probably need to add more lime juice or less almonds.

When I made these balls for the first time I couldn't believe they were alcohol-free, seriously, they taste like real mojito, I'm no joking. If you like alcohol-free drinks, you need to give this non-alcoholic sangria a try, it's also amazing!

I used a Vitamix blender to make this recipe because I don't have a food processor, but if you have one, use it. I recommend you to use a powerful blender, although you can use ground almonds if you don't have one.

You can use other nuts or even combine them (walnuts and almonds are one of my favorite combinations), but make sure they are unsalted. You can also use lemon instead of lime.

You can roll the balls in sugar, but it's not necessary. I used white sugar, but you can use brown sugar or even shredded coconut, I need to try using coconut indeed!

These balls have a less strong flavor than the traditional mojito because they are alcohol-free, but they are delectable and everybody can eat them, even kids.

With this recipe you can make 15 or 20 balls. It will be easy to make the balls if you keep the dough in the freezer 15 or 20 minutes before you make them.

If you like these non-alcoholic vegan mojito balls, you need to try our coconut balls recipe, it's also delicious and so simple. You can find it in our 10 Easy Vegan Recipes E-Cookbook, subscribe by email and get it for free. Both recipes are awesome and really easy to make, I love them!
