We visited Madrid a few weeks ago and we ate at some amazing vegan restaurants. There are many vegan places in Madrid, I’m so jealous! We only have one vegan restaurant here in Malaga and three vegetarian restaurants with some vegan dishes.
Loving Hut is the largest family of vegan restaurants in the world and they have more than 200 locations spanning across multiple countries in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. We’ve never been in one of their restaurants before and it was a great experience.
We ordered the daily specials menu (I think it’s not available on weekends). It’s cheaper and we loved all the dishes.
The staff were really nice and the restaurant was so cozy. It’s located at 5 minutes’ walk from our hotel placed in the heart of the shopping area of the city, very close to Gran Vía, an ornate and upscale shopping street located in central Madrid. The street is known as the Spanish Broadway, and is one of the streets with more nightlife in Europe. It’s known as the street that never sleeps. We found a great hotel, it was also really affordable and we barely had to take the subway because most of the places and the vegan restaurants and stores we visited were really close.
We ordered two daily specials menus and we shared all the dishes. You can see what we ate in the pictures below.
Bulgur salad:
Vegetable soup:
Seitan and vegetable curry:
Soy meat with orange sauce:
Lemon-vanilla flan:
Pineapple muffin:
Have you ever eaten at a Loving Hut restaurant? If you don’t and you come to Spain, you should visit this amazing restaurant in Madrid. There is another Loving Hut in Valencia, but we’ve never been there. We want to visit Barcelona and Valencia next summer, so probably we’ll eat there too, I can’t wait!

I went to Loving Hut here in VA and it was so good. I went for a light meal since it was a warm day. I ordered a club sandwich and it was SO GOOD and I had my first bubble tea. I’ll definitely go back. Thanks for the info on this restaurant.
Thanks a lot for your comment Cece! 🙂
