    Detox Green Juice

I'm so happy with my new juicer! I eat whole fruits and smoothies every single day, but juices taste amazing and they're great to cleanse and detoxify the body.

    Detox Green Juice

Green juices are even better because they're full of minerals and are even more nutritious than fruit juices. This recipe is really delicious and you only need 4 ingredients to make it (apples, pineapple, lemon and spinach), although you can use your favorite fruits and greens, juices always taste awesome!

    Course: Drink
    Cuisine: Gluten-free
    Diet: Vegan
    Total Time: 8 minutes
    Servings: 3 cups (750 ml)
    Author: Iosune

    Ingredients

    US Customary - Metric
    • 2 red apples, peeled if not organic
    • ½ pineapple
    • 2 lemons
    • 3 cups spinach
Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • Wash all the ingredients.
    • Peel the pineapple and the lemons. You should peel the apples too, if they're not organic.
    • Chop the fruit.
    • Put everything through the juicer.
    • Strain the juice for a better texture (optional).

    Notes

    • If this is the first time you make a green juice, you should use only 1 cup of spinach.
    • Feel free to use any fruit or veggie you like.
    • Organic produce is better, but if you can't afford it, don't worry, although you should peel the fruits or veggies you use.
    • You can make big batches of juice and drink it throughout the day (although fresh juice tastes better and has more vitamins) or even you can freeze it.
    • I run the pulp through my juicer again to get more juice.
    • You don't need to have a juicer to make juice, a blender also works. Take a look at my how to make juice with a blender post.

Drinking your calories is not nearly as satisfying as eating them. And for many dieters, that challenge is too difficult to maintain for long enough for the diet to work. The Red Tea Detox is on off A natural flush for your system, and detoxification properties, but can boost your immune system while protecting your liver from the damaging effects of toxic substances such as alcohol

Hi Willande! I agree, it's better to eat the fruit, but juices are also a good choice 🙂

I read a lot of blogs over juices. Some say vegetable juice is best over fruit juices.

It's my 1st time to juice vegetable. I don't know how it will feel. Detox juice pic looks like very healthy.I will try one glass a day.

Thanks for the recipe, Iosune. I appreciate it.

Hi Jessica! You're so welcome 🙂 Fruit juices have a lot of sugar, they should be a treat. Have a nice day!

I love all juices. Fruits, green.. Everything! How did you buy your new juicer? Did it take a lot of time to choose one? When I tried to do this, I read a lot of juicer comparison and it took like whole life. Did it?

I just made this. So delicious! I used 10 gram more of the spinach though because I don't have a juicer (yet!), so I thought that would keep some of the taste. I don't know if it did, I just know it's a great recipe. 🙂
