I shared with you the perfect healthy fresh fruit popsicles recipe, it’s amazing and really simple. Today I wanna show you how to prepare another super easy recipe, these alcohol free San Francisco cocktail popsicles.
Many store bought popsicles or ice creams are high in calories, fat, sugar and they have a lot of food dyes and other additives. To make these homemade popsicles you only need natural juices and they have almost no calories.
Alcohol free San Francisco cocktail is made with natural juices and Grenadine, but I’ve used a pomegranate-gooseberry-grape juice that I bought, instead of the Grenadine, but you can use any red juice you like. It’s better to make natural juice, but at least it was natural and additive and preservative free. The other juices were 100% natural, I made them with a juicer. If you don’t have one, you can use a blender and blend the fruit with orange juice or water.
Food dyes are an artificial ingredient and they can be dangerous for your health. In addition, they can cause ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in children. Unfortunately, they are part of a lot of products for kids like popsicles or ice creams, but you can make your own food at home, it’s really easy, and they are a much healthier choice.
To make these popsicles you only need to make the juices, mix them, pour the mixture in the molds and let the popsicles in the freezer for at least 4 hours. For the mold to easily loosen, rinse with lukewarm water. If you don’t have popsicle molds, you can use dixie cups and wooden sticks. Pour the mixture into the dixie cups and let stand in the freezer for 30 minutes or 1 hour or until the popsicles start to harden. Introduce the sticks and freeze for 3 hours more.
Don’t use store bought juices, they are very unhealthy, and you can make natural juices in a hurry with a juicer or a blender, they taste like heaven and are better for your body.
If you like Alcohol Free San Francisco cocktail, you need to make these popsicles. They are natural, fresh, healthy, light, fat-free, super easy to make and you can use your favorite juices. You can make an alcoholic version, although I prefer to go alcohol-free, it’s healthier and I love how it tastes!
