I can’t stop juicing! ? I don’t drink a juice every single day because I prefer green smoothies (they’re easier to make and contain fiber too), although I have at least one or two juices a week because they’re delicious and also extremely nutritious.
When I’m sick, especially if I have a cold, I always make myself a huge juice (about 32 ounces or 1 liter), using fruits and veggies that are high in vitamin C. I want to share a juice recipe to prevent and treat colds and boost your immune system, but today I want to show you this 4-ingredient fall juice, which is made with some fall produce like apples or Swiss chard.
When I started juicing I din’t know how to combine fruits and veggies to make juices that tasted good, but I love every single juice I made, it’s really easy to make your own combinations! I just use ingredients that I love and try the juice while I’m making it to add more ingredients depending of what I’m looking for. You should make your own recipes, but meanwhile, you need to try this delicious juice!
- 6 apples
- 2 oranges
- 4 cups Swiss chard (145 g)
- 2 celery sticks
- Wash all the ingredients.
- Peel the oranges.
- Chop the fruits and veggies.
- Put everything through the juicer.
- Strain the juice for a better texture (optional).
- If the fruits and veggies are not organic, you should peel them.
- Feel free to use or add other ingredients if you want.
