If you’re looking for healthy ways to satisfy your sweet tooth, you should keep reading. These 15 vegan Valentine’s Day recipes taste amazing, are easy to make and have less calories and fat because they’re dairy and egg free.
The ingredients are really easy to get and you’ll find also some alternatives just in case you can’t find or you don’t like any ingredient. Most recipes are gluten-free, so you can eat them if you’re a celiac or you’re following a gluten free diet. 1.- Vegan Gluten Free Chocolate Cake: this cake is perfect for Valentine’s Day. It’s a super simple recipe, you only have to make a chocolate cake and add the whipped cream and the chocolate hearts on top.
2.- Vegan Banana Split: you only need 5 minutes to make this dessert. It tastes like heaven and you can use your favorite seasonal fruits.
3.- Gluten Free Vegan Brownie: this brownie is flour and sugar free. It’s made with red beans and other healthy ingredients. If you don’t like red beans, don’t worry! It has an intense chocolate flavor like regular brownies.
4.- Vegan Carrot Cake Cupcakes: these are my favorite vegan cupcakes! They’re not gluten free, but you can use a homemade or store bought gluten free flour blend instead of the whole wheat flour.
5.- Ultimate Vegan Chocolate Shake: who doesn’t love chocolate shakes? This recipe is super healthy and you only need a few ingredients to make it. The whipped cream is optional, but it tastes really good, so it’s totally worth it.
6.- Vegan Gluten Free Pancakes: this is a healthy pancake recipe. They have less fat and are cholesterol-free. You’re going to love them! Sliced bananas and maple (or agave) syrup are my favorite toppings.
7.- Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles: if you make homemade plant milk, these chocolate hazelnut truffles are just perfect for you. There are a lot of recipes you can do with plant milk pulp, but I love this one because is super easy and everyone loves truffles.
8.- Chocolate Orange Cake (Vegan + GF): this cake is really addictive, it’s moist, fluffy and has an intense chocolate flavor. You’ll won’t be able to stop eating!
9.- Homemade Oreos (GF): Oreos are not very healthy and you can’t eat them if you are a celiac, but these homemade Oreos are gluten free! You should also try them without the filling, they’re so delicious!
10.- Vegan Gluten Free Blondie: blondies resemble the traditional chocolate brownie, but are based on brown sugar instead of cocoa powder. Some people add white chocolate, but I prefer this recipe, it’s awesome!
11.- Chocolate Cups: I’ve made this chocolate cups recipe hundreds of times. You only need four ingredients: chocolate, dates, banana and water. As you can see, it’s quick, easy and really cheap!
12.- Pumpkin Chocolate Chips Pancakes (V+ GF): start your day with a healthy breakfast. These pancakes are made with rice and oat flour, you can use other kind of flour if you want, but try to avoid refined wheat flour and use whole wheat flour at least, although I prefer to use gluten free flours.
13.- Chocolate Bark with Hazelnuts and Dried Fruits: you only need your favorite chocolate bark, hazelnuts and dried fruits to make this beautiful chocolate bark. Dried cherries have an amazing color and they’re perfect for Valentine’s Day.
14.- Crepe cake: if you love crepes, Nutella and coconut cream as much as I do, you need to give this crepe cake a try. I use homemade vegan Nutella, but you can also use store bought.
15.- Ultimate Vegan Gluten Free Brownie: best brownie ever! I love to eat this delicious dessert with vegan vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup, it tastes sooooo good!
