OMG! This vegan funfetti shake is awesome! It’s really healthy, vegan and tastes amazing, seriously, you need to try it! And the kids love it because of the sprinkles and its delicious taste.
Do you like sprinkles? I do! But sadly, most of them are really unhealthy because are made with refined sugar and food dyes which are an artificial ingredient and they can be dangerous for your health. In addition, they can cause ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in children. That’s why I’m so happy because this sprinkles are vegan, gluten free and made with natural ingredients. If you can’t find them, don’t worry, you can make the recipe too, and you’re going to love it because it’s delectable.
The ingredients are easy to get, you only need bananas, ice, ground cinnamon, rice milk (or your favorite plant milk) and a sweetener (I’ve used coconut sugar). It’s low in fat and calories, so it’s perfect if you’re trying to lose some weight and you want to drink a delicious sweet and natural shake.
To make your own milkshakes at home is super easy, so avoid store bought smoothies and shakes, they are full of sugar and nasty ingredients and even if they’re made with fruits, they have already lost their nutrients. In addition homemade shakes are also cheaper and you can use your favorite ingredients.
Cinnamon and sprinkles are optional and you can remove the ice too. Use other spices if you want, like nutmeg or even you can add cocoa or carob powder. You don’t have to add any sweetener if you don’t like, especially if you use super ripe bananas or a sweet plant milk.
Almond and cashew milk are my favorite plant milk, but I’ve used rice milk because is low in calories. If you want to make a raw version of this vegan funfetti shake you can use raw almond or cashew milk and remove the sprinkles, it’s a super healthy alternative, or even you can add more bananas or dates and use water or coconut water instead of milk.

- 2 bananas
- 1 cup ice (150 grams)
- 2 cups rice milk (500 milliliters)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into glass and stir in as many sprinkles as you’d like.
